Eden Springs launched creative plant base material environmental protection cup series

Eden Springs has launched a series of environmentally friendly cups suitable for hot and cold drinks.

The new series of products include three new types of environmental protection cups, which are completely degradable paper cups, completely degradable corn starch PLA plastic cups and tapered paper cups.

Completely degradable plant -based heat drinking cups provide 8 ounces and 12 ounces of capacity, and have single or double wall styles. The material is derived from the sustainable source of paper, and the inner lining plant PLA plastic. These cups are suitable for various drinks, from coffee, tea to hot chocolate and soup.

At the same time, 7 ounces of corn starchy -based PLA plastic cups can be completely degraded, and certified can be decomposed within 12 weeks under the condition of industrial degradation.

Finally, the 4 ounces of conical paper cups do not contain PE lining, and can be recycled through traditional paper recycling technology.

“Eden Springs UK’s managing director Brian Macpherson said:” Plant -based materials have not only have environmental protection advantages after use, but also have a significant reduction in energy used in the production process, and the greenhouse gases produced are also reduced.

“Plant -based materials, such as corn starch, are a more sustainable choice for cup materials, because corn is a resource that can be regularly produced and updated, and will not have harmful effects on the environment.”
