Because in different environments, due to the different positions of the audio, the indoor sound absorption materials are different. At this time, the audio curve of each speaker is different.

Simply put, the sound of the speaker was absorbed or reflected. Finally, some frequency energy was weak and some frequency energy was strong.

We need to make up it in a weaker place. For places with strong energy, we need to weaken it.

Otherwise, the sound of the audio will not sound good, even causing howling.

Therefore, although the KTV audio device has been debugged during research and development, when doing the KTV audio engineering, it still needs to set the debug parameters of the effect.

This time I (Zhang Qidong) uses a actual case to tell you how to set the debug parameters of the KTV effects scientific and reasonable.

There is a set of KTV audio devices in my office, 4 professional speakers, the first 2 main speaker, and the last 2 replenishment speakers.

When not debugging the parameters of the previous effect, we will obviously find that the bass and treble ratio of the speaker are not coordinated.


for example:


The sound is relatively thin, and there are too many treble; whether it is a microphone or a sound of music, it is a bit harsh.


If we adjust the microphone volume a little, it will cause the sound to scream.

What should we deal with this situation?

1. Choose appropriate sound insulation and sound -absorbing materials when KTV decoration

2. Test the curve of each speaker in the audio system

3. Set the curve of the speaker reasonably and adjust it to roughly the same

In the KTV audio engineering, the decoration material is very large for sound quality!

If we use too much sound -absorbing material, soft bags, carpets and the like, although the sound quality becomes clear, the sound color is severe!

The sound becomes thin and dry, and the echo of the microphone has become much less. At this time, the sound of singing will be more unpleasant.


Before the decoration, communicate with the tunnel, and choose the choice of sound absorbing materials appropriately, and even the sofa choice.

Through computer software analysis, we will find that the curve of the two sounds is very different!

There are more high-frequency and low frequency (43-80Hz) of a sound, and there are more high-frequency in the range of 1-18kHz, and even a large high frequency in a place.

So the sound of this speaker is thin and sharp!

In this case, we need to weaken high -frequency places, otherwise this place is likely to cause the audio system to scream.

In the bass part, we can increase the energy of the bass and adjust the balancer.


Let’s analyze the second speaker. Its bass parts are more and less treble.

In the range of 40-500Hz, the sound energy is very strong, but the range of 2-18kHz is weak!

So the sound is stuffy, and it is also very turbid. The sound of the speaker is very vague.

We need to weaken its bass part and raise the treble part to get a good voice.

When we compare the curves of the two speakers together, we will see the differences between the two very intuitively.

For old fritters like me (Zhang Qidong), looking at the curve of the speaker can roughly judge the characteristics of the speaker sound.

We can reasonably set the effect of debug parameters, making the sound of the two speakers nice, and the frequency curve is close.

At this time, there will be no sound of the sound of one speaker, the sound of the sound of the other speaker is turbid and blurred.

The bass and treble ratio of the two speakers are suitable, the sound is full and powerful, and the phenomenon of screaming will not appear when singing!
